Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our trip?
The fish are already wet, so the rain will not affect fishing. Unless the weather makes being on the water unsafe, we would continue with our planned trip. Cancellation due to weather is at our discretion.
What do I need to bring
Fishing License. (ND or MN) Any food or drinks you want during the trip. Rain gear / proper clothing. Everything else will be provided!
Can I bring children with?
Yes (depending on the total number of guests). We would just ask that you bring the proper fitting life jacket or check that we have them if you do not. If a child is under the age of 6, please call and we can discuss it.
Can I keep fish we catch?
In order to preserve the special fishery, all guides on the Red River practice trophy catch and release: We require that all catfish over 24 inches must be released unless it is a state record. Legal limits of fish under 24 inches may be kept.Fishing cleaning is available for an additional fee.
How many people can fish?
1-4 people.
Meet Captain Zac Bernier
I am fully licensed, insured, and certified as a U.S Coast Guard Captain. I enjoy putting people on big fish and showing them a great time! I am proud of my personal fishing accomplishments, but I get more joy from bringing others along and helping them catch big fish and creating lifelong memories.
